How to reach Dudhsagar Trek
Kulem is the gateway to Dudhsagar — the small Western Ghats town where every jeep safari starts. Here's how to get there from Goa's coast and from major Indian cities.
By air
The nearest airport is Goa International Airport at Dabolim (GOI), about 60 km from Kulem — roughly 1.5 to 2 hours by road depending on traffic through Ponda. The newer Manohar International Airport at Mopa (GOX) in North Goa is 110 km away, adding about an hour.
If you're on our With-Transport package, we pick you up directly from your Goa hotel — no need to arrange a separate airport transfer to Kulem.
By train
Kulem railway station (station code QLM) is the closest railhead — a short walk from our jeep pickup point. It's on the Konkan railway line, with daily trains from Madgaon, Vasco, Londa and Hubballi. For the Tatkal package, most self-planning guests take the morning train from Madgaon or Vasco.
Castle Rock station (station code CLR), 25 km north on the Karnataka side, is the starting point of the classic railway trek to the falls — a separate multi-hour walk we don't operate.

The meeting point at Kulem
All jeeps depart from the designated forest-department bay near Kulem railway station. If you booked the With-Transport package we handle everything — your driver takes you straight to the bay and hands you over to the jeep captain.
If you booked Tatkal, park at the station lot, walk to the bay (about 5 minutes), and look for the operator with your booking name. We message the exact meet-up spot and captain's phone number on WhatsApp the evening before your slot.
From inside the park — Kulem to the falls
The final 12–15 km from Kulem to the base of the falls is 4×4 territory only — no private cars, no bikes, no walking (except on the permitted railway trail from Castle Rock, which is a separate day-long hike). The jeep ride takes 30–45 minutes each way, threads through six river crossings, and drops you at a short walking trail that ends at the plunge pool.
